Teddy Bear fund charity slams Miley Cyrus VMA Performance

One organization is speaking out on behalf of a voiceless minority that was victimized by Miley Cyrus' Video Music Awards performance - teddy bears.

According to "TMZ," a group called the Teddy Bear Fund isn't pleased with the background dancers who were dressed up like the children's toy during her raunchy dance routine.

A rep is telling the gossip site that Miley "made a poor choice to use a universally loved children's teddy bear in an offensive way."  Apparently the group didn't understand the twerking stuffed bears that appeared on stage as she sang "We Can't Stop."

Giant teddy bears are also featured in Miley's video.  The Teddy Bear Fund, which is a charity that donates stuffed toys to abuse shelters, says Miley may "consider reversing this situation" by extending her fascination with teddy bears in a similarly positive way.
